Remote Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Description:

• The Senior AWS DevOps Engineer will be responsible for leading critical deployments and ensuring high-quality delivery of cloud services.

• The engineer will identify and drive technical improvements, manage production change approval processes, and lead technical root cause analysis.
• The position requires involvement in technical discussions from architecture to hands-on coding.
• The role is remote, but candidates must reside in Poland and will be part of a weekly on-call rota, approximately once every six weeks.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have long-term hands-on experience with AWS and a proven track record.
• Experience in deploying and configuring CI/CD pipelines is required.
• Familiarity with multi-account/subscription Infrastructure as Code (IaC) structures is necessary.
• Practical experience in both DevOps and SysOps models is essential.
• An AWS Solution Architect certification is required.
• Candidates should have experience in AWS designs for various applications with a proven track record.
• The ability to work collaboratively with the customer’s IT, Amazon Web Services ProServ, and Rackspace is important.
• Strong advisory, argumentation, and convincing skills are necessary.
• Candidates should be able to assume the customer’s perspective and take accountability for risks.
