Remote Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Description:

• ButterflyMX is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative products for building access.
• The role involves automating operational processes and continuous delivery pipelines, managing AWS networking and infrastructure provisioning, and collaborating with product engineering teams to drive innovation.
• Responsibilities include defining and implementing organizational governance policies in AWS, providing operational support for AWS infrastructure, and applying automation and Infrastructure as Code skills to streamline operations.
• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, along with extensive experience in AWS infrastructure design, Terraform, high-level programming languages, Linux server management, and automation of identity and security management in AWS.
• Strong analytical skills and a process-oriented mindset are essential for this role.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure in AWS.
• 3+ years using Terraform or similar tools for AWS resource management.
• 3+ years of coding experience in a high-level programming language.
• 5+ years managing Linux server environments.
• 2+ years automating identity, authorization, security boundaries, and organizational structure in AWS.
• Strong analytical skills and a process-oriented mindset.
