Description:
- The Senior AWS Migration Engineer will be responsible for leading and executing end-to-end cloud migration projects.
- Design and implement AWS migration strategies, optimize existing infrastructure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth transitions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and manage secure, scalable network architectures in AWS.
- Execute data migration tasks using various AWS and third-party tools.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud migrations, with a focus on AWS.
- Deep knowledge of AWS migration services and tools such as AWS Migration Hub, AWS Application Migration Service, AWS Server Migration Service, AWS DataSync, and AWS Transfer Family.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and implementations in AWS including VPN, VPC peering, NAT, Route tables, Security Groups, and more.
- Expertise in a wide range of AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and more.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, data migration tools, NetApp ONTAP systems, and AWS FSx for NetApp ONTAP.
