Description:
Design and engineer 100% AWS cloud-native application components
Develop solution prototypes to demonstrate suitability and interoperability of chosen components, and to establish patterns for adoption by development team members
Write high-quality, efficient code in Python and JavaScript without guidance in solution prototypes
Provide ongoing guidance and coaching to development team members
Offer AWS cloud-native subject-matter expertise to developers
Conduct code reviews and feedback on implementation patterns
Capture implementation patterns into development standards and architecture best practices as needed
Requirements:
Background in large-system application development and design
Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud application components
Proficiency in object-oriented design principles and software design patterns
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies like Glue, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CodeCommit, EC2, SNS, SQS, KMS, VPC, and IAM
Familiarity with document markups (JSON, XML), document data stores, and REST API endpoints
Experience with container software and application management (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes)
Exposure to relational databases, SQL, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), Jenkins, and GIT
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and/or Scrum
Strong critical thinking, analytical reasoning, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to adhere to policies safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution
