Remote Senior Azure Administrator 12 Months Contract

Description:

• The Senior Azure Administrator will be responsible for provisioning, administering, and automating cloud infrastructure in Azure.
• They will focus on configuring security policies, reducing costs, and migrating workloads to a new Enterprise Scale environment.
• Collaborating with stakeholders and the Enterprise Architect team for continuous improvements.
• Conducting security assessments of cloud resources and implementing initiatives to enhance security posture.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Azure cloud administration and a total of 7+ years of IT infrastructure/developer experience.
• Must be AZ-104 certified, with AZ-500 and AZ-400 certifications considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in automating and orchestrating workloads in Azure cloud.
• Experience deploying cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.
• Ability to identify potential threats and weaknesses in cloud infrastructure and conduct regular security assessments.
• Experience in Kubernetes (AKS) and HashiCorp Vault would be beneficial.
