Remote Senior Azure Cloud Engineer (Remote EST HOurs)

Description:

• The Senior Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• They will architect cloud infrastructure, optimize performance, ensure security, and manage Azure-based applications.
• Responsibilities include designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures, deploying and maintaining Azure resources, and developing Infrastructure as Code scripts.
• The role involves monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure, implementing security best practices, and integrating with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines.
• Disaster recovery and backup strategies will be designed and implemented, and the engineer will provide advanced troubleshooting and support for cloud-related issues.
• Documentation of cloud architectures, deployments, and processes is essential, along with collaborating on the organization's Azure cloud strategy.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Deep understanding of Azure services, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Azure resources like virtual networks, VMs, databases, and storage.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, optimization, security, compliance, disaster recovery, and backup strategies on Azure.
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, network, and application performance issues.
• Excellent documentation skills and the ability to provide guidance on best practices for cloud use.
• Collaboration skills to work with stakeholders on developing and refining the organization's Azure cloud strategy.
