Remote Senior Azure Data & BI Engineer

Description:

• Design and implement data solutions on the Azure platform.
• Develop and maintain business intelligence (BI) solutions.
• Build cloud-native SaaS solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across various data layers.
• Focus on data modeling and data warehouse modeling using Power BI.
• Utilize Power Query, DAX, and calculated measures for data transformation.
• Create complex and insightful reporting visualizations.
• Design data architectures using medallion architecture and snowflake schemas.
• Work with Microsoft Azure Data Explorer (ADX) for data ingestion and transformation.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data artifacts.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) and modern software best practices.
• Write high-quality code with unit testing, mocking, automation, and integration testing.
• Build cloud-native applications on Azure or AWS using PaaS services.
• Produce and document designs and specifications for new features and services.
• Experience in C# and .NET is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data engineering and development.
• Solid background in building cloud-native SaaS solutions on Azure.
• Strong experience in Power BI, data modeling, and data warehouse modeling.
• Advanced skills in Power Query, DAX, and calculated measures.
• Ability to create complex reporting visualizations.
• Experience with medallion architecture and snowflake schemas.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Explorer (ADX) and Microsoft Fabric.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines for data artifacts.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) and modern software best practices.
• Experience in writing high-quality code and unit testing.
• Experience in building cloud-native applications on Azure or AWS.
• Ability to produce and document designs and specifications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
