Description:

  • Trility Consulting is seeking a Senior Azure Data Consultant with experience in implementing Microsoft Fabric to lead Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives.
  • The role involves collaborating with clients to test Fabric’s performance against on-premise systems and building robust data solutions.
  • Responsibilities include leading the implementation and testing of Microsoft Fabric, evaluating ETL processes, and optimizing query performance.
  • The consultant will design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to move data from enterprise systems to a central warehouse.
  • The position requires evaluating and executing SQL queries to test performance improvements in Fabric versus on-premise systems.
  • The consultant will design and document data architectures involving data lakes, lakehouses, and cloud databases.
  • Best practices in ETL development, data modeling, and performance optimization must be applied.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions is essential.
  • The consultant must ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices are upheld in cloud-based environments.
  • The role operates in an agile environment, providing technical leadership and driving project success.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working with Azure Data Services, including Fabric, ADF, Databricks, and Synapse.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Fabric in a production environment is required.
  • A strong background in ETL development, particularly using Azure Data Factory, is necessary.
  • Candidates should have the ability to lead discussions and provide oversight on Data Model design across multiple departments and teams.
  • Strong data modeling skills, including experience with Dimensional modeling, Star Schema, and Kimball methodologies, are essential.
  • A deep understanding of cloud architecture, including data lakes, lakehouses, and cloud databases, is required.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data transformation and performance tuning is necessary.
  • Experience with cloud analytics platforms such as Databricks, Fabric, or Synapse is required.
  • Strong business analysis skills to gather requirements and align technical solutions with business goals are essential.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are necessary, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Candidates must reside within the United States and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
