The company is looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join their team.
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining tools and infrastructure that empower technical teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities include managing Azure accounts and subscriptions, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions, overseeing Linux and Windows server distributions, and implementing Azure networking and storage services.
The engineer will utilize Terraform for automated deployment, ensure systems are highly available and secure, and collaborate with development teams to manage applications on Azure.
The role emphasizes reducing complexity in infrastructure and avoiding over-engineering solutions.
Requirements:
A high degree of knowledge and understanding of Azure, including Azure CAF, accounts, subscriptions, and Landing Zones design is required.
Candidates must have at least one Azure certification, preferably Azure Administrator Associate (AZ104).
Expertise in implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform is essential.
Strong experience with TypeScript and Python is required, along with proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell.
Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions as part of the CI/CD pipeline, following GitOps best practices, is necessary.
Proficiency in managing Linux-based servers, including distributions like Debian, Fedora, and Ubuntu is required.
Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, such as Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2022, is needed.
In-depth experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, as well as container networking and storage management, is essential.
Candidates should promote and adhere to Agile principles, focusing on iterative development and collaboration across teams.
Knowledge of implementing security best practices to ensure infrastructure reliability and scalability is required.
Desirable requirements include knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, experience with other programming languages, and relevant certifications.
