Remote Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Design and implement scalable software services in collaboration with engineering and architecture teams.
• Execute cloud engineering tasks within sprint cycles, following best practices and templates within a customer project team.
• Create cloud solutions for new customers using cloud-native components.
• Utilize basic architectures and components to build automated cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and supporting service frameworks.
• Present architectures to customers at different levels, from developers to business analysts to senior executives.
• Advise executives and end-users with varying levels of familiarity with cloud technologies on technology selection, best practices, and benefits.

Requirements:

• Strong technical expertise with experience in complex projects from conception to delivery to provide automated, secure, and robust cloud infrastructure solutions. Assist customers in optimizing their workloads by offering application-oriented support in creating, deploying, integrating, scaling, and troubleshooting using native Azure and third-party toolchains along with automation-oriented agile principles.
• Responsible for assisting customers with tasks such as resource provisioning, changing cloud environments, performing upgrades, and resolving everyday customer issues through practical and advisory approaches. Engage in technical discussions at all levels, from architecture to practical programming.
• Good knowledge of infrastructure technology is advantageous, as well as a programming background. Responsible for providing technical consulting services in a customer-oriented role, often on-site with the customer, by utilizing personal expertise and collaborating closely with colleagues. You will be the voice of Rackspace with the customer.
