Description:
We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer with 6-8 years of expertise to join our dynamic team.
This position requires the flexibility to handle passive on-call duties during the week or weekends for critical P1 tickets.
Although such instances have only occurred 2 or 3 times in the past three years, availability is essential.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core.
The role involves working with SQL/NoSQL databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
You will manage and optimize workloads in Azure Cloud and containerized environments.
Implementing Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines using Azure DevOps is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
Proven experience in API development using C# and ASP.NET Core is required.
Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server is essential.
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Containers is necessary.
Experience in CI/CD pipelines with Azure pipelines is a must.
A solid understanding of software engineering concepts such as multithreading, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns is good to have.
Experience with Kubernetes and Container Orchestration is preferred.
Knowledge of Authentication/Authorization mechanisms like Oauth and Auth0 is beneficial.
Proficiency in data access layer development using Entity Framework, Entity Framework Core, and ADO.NET is desired.
Experience with Node.js application development is a plus.
Certifications like AZ104, AZ400, AZ500, and CKA are preferred.
Familiarity with Cloud Technologies (Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes) and tools like Ansible, GitHub Actions, and Visual Studio is advantageous.
Additional certifications such as AZ305, AZ300, AZ301, and CKAD are a plus.
