Description:
As a Senior Azure Engineer, you will be a vital member of a 24x7 global support team that provides technical support to ensure the operational continuity of customers' games and their players.
You will be the main point of contact for keeping prestigious games operational, responding swiftly and articulately to customer requests, and solving complex technical issues.
You will assist other team members with particularly difficult challenges and thrive in a fast-paced live operational environment.
Your role will involve translating hard customer challenges into solvable problems and driving issues to resolution.
You will ensure a detailed understanding and troubleshooting of user needs, responding to customer requests and tickets within contractually committed SLA.
You will monitor, manage, and maintain daily activities of Azure environments, responding to and addressing system alerts.
You will assist with resource provisioning, migration, and configuration in Azure.
You will manage cloud networking and security, including Firewalls, NSGs, ASGs, and WAFs.
You will be comfortable raising issues to relevant technical teams and supporting users and internal teams within a defined incident management process.
You will respond to sophisticated tickets and navigate difficult scenarios that may require collaboration across multiple teams.
Requirements:
You must have experience with hosting/IaaS/cloud products and services in a customer-facing technical support capacity.
A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive responsibility in a helpdesk environment is required.
You should have deep experience with Linux and Windows server administration, including SSH, remote desktop, and networking tracing tools.
You need to be a self-managed, responsible, and highly productive individual, known for getting things done right the first time.
A keen curiosity about programming or tinkering with your own code-based projects is expected.
You should have experience working as part of a global shift-oriented team with effective handovers of information.
A fully functional and up-to-date computer is required to perform your duties.
You must be willing to install next-generation endpoint protection on your computer.
You need to be a current resident of the Philippines and able to perform work from there.
You should be willing to work in the US Pacific time zone or the client time zone.
