Description:

  • We are looking for an L2 Technical IT Engineer to support Azure cloud services, Windows Server systems, and Kubernetes environments.
  • The role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues escalated by L1 engineers to ensure systems remain secure, updated, and functional.
  • Key responsibilities include fixing issues related to Azure, Windows Server, and Kubernetes, managing Kubernetes configurations, monitoring, and scaling applications.
  • The engineer will handle application secret management to prevent credential expiration issues.
  • Responsibilities also include setting up and maintaining backup solutions, applying OS updates and security patches, and managing antivirus software.
  • The role requires monitoring Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Kubernetes metrics to identify potential issues.
  • The engineer will troubleshoot network and OS issues, manage Windows Server environments, and perform system upgrades and capacity planning.
  • Teamwork and documentation are essential, as the engineer will collaborate with offshore teams and document fixes, processes, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • A solid understanding of Azure services, including VMs, Networking, Storage, and Identity, is required.
  • Experience managing Windows Server environments, including patching, Active Directory, and backups, is essential.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes (AKS) for deployments and troubleshooting is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with application secret management and security compliance is required.
  • Some exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills are essential; the candidate should be able to resolve issues effectively.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience is required.
  • The candidate should have 4–6 years of experience working with Azure, Windows Server, and Kubernetes.
  • Certifications such as Azure Fundamentals or Administrator Associate are beneficial, and Kubernetes certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary to explain problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
