Description:
We are looking for an L2 Technical IT Engineer to support Azure cloud services, Windows Server systems, and Kubernetes environments.
The role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues escalated by L1 engineers to ensure systems remain secure, updated, and functional.
Key responsibilities include fixing issues related to Azure, Windows Server, and Kubernetes, managing Kubernetes configurations, monitoring, and scaling applications.
The engineer will handle application secret management to prevent credential expiration issues.
Responsibilities also include setting up and maintaining backup solutions, applying OS updates and security patches, and managing antivirus software.
The role requires monitoring Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Kubernetes metrics to identify potential issues.
The engineer will troubleshoot network and OS issues, manage Windows Server environments, and perform system upgrades and capacity planning.
Teamwork and documentation are essential, as the engineer will collaborate with offshore teams and document fixes, processes, and best practices.
Requirements:
A solid understanding of Azure services, including VMs, Networking, Storage, and Identity, is required.
Experience managing Windows Server environments, including patching, Active Directory, and backups, is essential.
Familiarity with Kubernetes (AKS) for deployments and troubleshooting is necessary.
Hands-on experience with application secret management and security compliance is required.
Some exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills are essential; the candidate should be able to resolve issues effectively.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience is required.
The candidate should have 4–6 years of experience working with Azure, Windows Server, and Kubernetes.
Certifications such as Azure Fundamentals or Administrator Associate are beneficial, and Kubernetes certification is a plus.
Excellent communication skills are necessary to explain problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
