Description:
Excella is seeking a Senior Azure FinOps Cloud Engineer to join their team, focusing on building efficient, resilient, secure, and stable cloud infrastructure.
The role emphasizes the Azure Well-Architected Framework, which includes operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization.
Candidates should have experience in continuous delivery, delivering cloud infrastructure as code, and embracing modern practices like test and policy automation.
Responsibilities include performing operations as code, assisting with cloud migration, modernizing legacy applications, enabling hybrid cloud solutions, automating infrastructure, implementing cloud security, creating traceability, and ensuring repeatability in infrastructure tools and patterns.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, Azure Bicep, or Azure CLI/SDKs.
Strong knowledge of Azure core services, including IAM, Azure AD, Compute, Networking, Storage, and Databases is required.
Experience with Azure Data services and designing cloud solutions in a federal validated environment is essential.
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as C#/.NET, Python, Ruby, Go, or Node.js is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience in creating and deploying automation pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools is required.
Knowledge of cloud cost management, financial analysis, and governance policy implementation is important.
Leadership experience in project planning and execution of enterprise-level cloud solutions in an Agile environment is preferred.
