Description:

  • The Senior Azure Platform Engineer will work remotely, adhering to UK working hours.
  • This role involves guiding customers on their journey to cloud and DevOps maturity.
  • The engineer will leverage expertise in cloud technologies to architect, implement, and optimize solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating with clients to assess infrastructure, designing scalable cloud-native solutions, and leading the implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
  • The engineer will provide technical guidance to junior team members and engage with stakeholders to align initiatives with business objectives.
  • Staying current with emerging trends in cloud computing and contributing to internal knowledge sharing is also expected.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have a passion for new technology and automation, with experience in Agile and DevOps best practices.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment practices is essential.
  • The ability to collaborate with individuals of varying technical abilities is required.
  • Project management experience is necessary, along with strong people skills to motivate teams.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable cloud platforms and experience with infrastructure-as-code practices is required.
  • Knowledge of container orchestration platforms and public cloud services is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cloud migration projects and engaging with clients is necessary.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and obtaining relevant certifications is expected.
