Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Ruby on Rails to design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable backend systems.
In this role, you will collaborate with front-end developers, build and optimize APIs (RESTful/GraphQL), and enhance overall system architecture to support a legacy site.
You will also be responsible for ensuring database integrity, debugging applications, and working with cloud services like AWS or Heroku.

Requirements:

You must have 5-7+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, with a strong focus on Ruby.
Experience managing a team of developers to deliver large projects is required.
You should have experience designing and developing RESTful APIs or GraphQL services.
Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL is necessary.
Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git or a similar tool, is essential.
Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Heroku, or similar platforms is required.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills are a must.
You must be able to work in the EST time zone.
