Crossvale is seeking a skilled Senior Back End Developer with expertise in Java and/or .NET Core.
The position is available for remote work in Medellin, Mexico, Bogota, or Cali.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in back-end infrastructure, software development, and technical leadership.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with Solutions Architects, developing and deploying technical solutions, and building project maps.
The developer will proactively identify risks and opportunities for optimization throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities also include creating and managing internal documentation, utilizing Git for version control, and supporting continuous integration and delivery.
Participation in client meetings to gather requirements and ensure satisfaction is expected.
The role involves ensuring high-quality deliverables through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.
The candidate will provide guidance and mentorship to Associate Consultants and team members.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5–7 years of relevant software development experience in Java 11 or .NET Core.
A solid foundation in system architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is required.
Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code, is necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Proficiency in frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Quarkus is required.
Familiarity with messaging brokers like Apache ActiveMQ and Apache Kafka is needed.
Experience designing and implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs is required.
Candidates should have experience with Operator-based solutions such as Infinispan, Kafka, and Istio.
Knowledge of OAuth and microservices application security is necessary.
Configuration and management of middleware components, including application servers, message brokers, and API gateways, is required.

This is a contractor position, allowing for flexible work arrangements.
The ideal candidate must be able to invoice Crossvale monthly, with a negotiable hourly rate based on skills and experience.
The work schedule will align with U.S. Central Time hours, providing a structured work environment.
