Remote Senior Back End Developer

Description:

• Bounteous x Accolite is seeking a Senior Back End Developer to join their growing team and lead the development of innovative systems and services that drive client success.
• The role involves designing, building, and maintaining back-end infrastructure across a variety of applications.
• The developer will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with teams to solve challenges, writing clean and well-documented code, and maintaining scalable back-end services and APIs.
• The developer will optimize back-end systems for performance and reliability, implement security measures, and troubleshoot issues across the full stack.
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience at a digital-first agency or consultancy is a strong plus.
• Expertise in Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Python, object-oriented programming, MVC frameworks, API development, and web development is required.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and building REST APIs using Serverless and Nuxt frameworks is essential.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices, coding standards, version control, and testing processes is necessary.
• Proven experience in developing scalable websites and web applications is required.
• Candidates should have hands-on experience designing, developing, and consuming APIs, with AWS experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management, and project management skills are important.
• Candidates must be enthusiastic, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to communicate technical topics to various audiences.
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, or similar tools is preferred.
• A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, bootcamp graduation, or relevant hands-on experience is ideal.
