Description:

The Trustly Americas team is seeking a Senior Back-End Engineer to join their growing team in a remote capacity.
The role involves designing tech solutions, discussing non-functional requirements, proposing new tools, creating technical documentation, and assessing new solutions for maintainability.
Responsibilities include developing metrics, alerts, and system dashboards using tools like Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, and New Relic.
The engineer will provide training for newcomers and operational teams, monitor system health and performance, and support operational teams in fixing issues, including production database changes.
The position requires leading initiatives to gather business requirements, participate in functional discussions, document features, and create plans for task forces.
The engineer will autonomously develop complex solutions, maintain integration and unit tests, create API endpoints, and analyze large volumes of data and logs for issue investigations.

Requirements:

Candidates must have solid knowledge and experience with Java and software engineering concepts.
A strong understanding of relational and/or non-relational databases is required.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is necessary.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate ownership and a focus on solutions, with the ability to work with remote and international teams.
Clear and objective communication skills are essential, along with advanced English proficiency to participate in meetings.
