Remote Senior Back End Engineer

Description:

• Design and develop robust, scalable data pipeline and software modules for ingesting, validating, mastering, analyzing, and reporting on complex health care data.
• Transform disparate data into actionable insights for customers.
• Be a critical member of a product and engineering team building a unique healthcare software solution.
• Develop and manage data pipelines at an enterprise scale.
• Own data quality for various data flows.
• Launch and support new data models for intuitive analytics.
• Design and develop new framework and automation tools for faster data consumption.
• Build highly reliable software for large customers.
• Ensure operational readiness and meet commitments regarding reliability, availability, and performance.
• Work on data warehouse design, database systems, and large-scale data processing solutions.
• Implement multi-tenant systems with a focus on isolation and security.
• Collaborate with multiple teams in high visibility roles and own solutions end-to-end.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Software Development Experience as a software engineer.
• 5 years of Python experience, supplemented by other programming languages.
• Proficiency in Data Development technologies like SQL Databases, No SQL, Cloud Datastores.
• Experience with public cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferably AWS).
• Ability to build enterprise-grade, reliable software or services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and CS fundamentals.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Operational experience with multi-tenant systems focusing on reliability, performance, isolation, and security.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Math, or other STEM-related fields.
