We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help scale the platform and APIs of our Resova product.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have experience with building booking engine/content management systems.
Our platform leverages technologies such as Laravel, Angular, React, MySQL, and AWS.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and operating scalable cloud services, participating in architecture discussions, mentoring junior engineers, performing code reviews, and owning back-end optimizations and new features.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working with PHP and some experience with Node.js, as we use Laravel and Node.js on the backend.
A strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals is required, with competencies in architecture, object-oriented programming, and system design.
Experience in building cloud-based, distributed, resilient systems that can handle large and variable traffic volumes is essential.
Candidates should have experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Github Actions, and Jenkins is necessary.
A working knowledge of Docker Containers and AWS is also required.
