Description:

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing backend systems using Node.js, Next.js, and Contentful.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Project Managers, Strategists, Designers, Frontend Developers, and QA Engineers.
Your primary responsibilities include architecting scalable and efficient backend solutions, ensuring seamless integrations, and contributing to the overall technical strategy.
You will collaborate with Project Managers, Designers, and Developers to build robust backend architectures.
You will develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and Next.js.
You will conduct feasibility assessments of technical solutions and provide alternative recommendations.
You will write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
You will conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
You will optimize API calls and data handling for performance improvements.
You will manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
You will research and implement best practices in software development, security, and performance optimization.
You will work closely with UX and frontend teams to ensure seamless API integrations.
You will maintain and extend technical documentation for backend systems.

Requirements:

You must have 5+ years of software development experience utilizing Node.js.
You should have proficiency in GraphQL for API development, including designing, implementing, and optimizing queries.
You need to have experience working with Headless CMS platforms, with a preference for Contentful.
Familiarity with Next.js, particularly for API routing or backend services, is nice to have.
