The role is for a Senior Back-end Engineer specializing in Node.js, with options for remote work or based in Warsaw.
Responsibilities include architecting and implementing backends, supporting reliable databases and APIs, deploying software using industry-standard tooling, and ensuring security practices are followed.
The position involves working in an agile environment on impactful projects, implementing automated test suites, and adhering to DevOps principles.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
A good practical knowledge of at least one relational database system, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server, is required.
Experience with microservices and system design patterns is essential.
Candidates should be independent problem-solvers and able to engage in discussions regarding software design and architecture.
Experience implementing the test pyramid (unit, integration, e2e tests) and utilizing good security practices is necessary.
A good command of English (written and spoken) is required.
Candidates should be ready to learn and expand their skill set as needed and be available in the afternoons for collaboration with the United States.

The salary ranges from 24,000 to 30,000 PLN + VAT on B2B or equivalent on a contract of employment.
