Remote Senior Back-end Engineer – open application

Description:

• We are looking for a Senior Back-end Engineer to join our team remotely from anywhere in LATAM.
• The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of professional experience in software development.
• The candidate should be able to craft quality code and expose it through Rest APIs, event streams, or queues using technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, or NetCore.
• A solid experience with the standard tech stack for the chosen technology is required, including frameworks like express, Sails, Hapi, or Spring.
• Experience with containerized application development using Docker is essential.
• The candidate must have a strong understanding of both structured and unstructured data storages, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS-SQL, Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis, Hadoop, and DocumentDB.
• Experience in designing and implementing applications and services on public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure using PaaS is necessary.
• A strong foundation in computer science is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in crafting quality code and exposing it through Rest APIs, event streams, or queues using Node.js, Java, Python, or NetCore is required.
• Solid experience with the standard tech stack for the chosen technology, such as express, Sails, Hapi, or Spring, is necessary.
• Experience with Docker for containerized application development is essential.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes, Apache Mesos, AWS ECS, or AWS ECR is a plus.
• Experience in creating or working with distributed architectures using MicroServices and platforms like Eureka, AWS Kinesis, or Kafka is desirable.
• Knowledge of monitoring production applications using APM tools like New Relic is beneficial.
• Experience in managing and setting up environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CLI tools is preferred.
• Candidates should have experience in setting up and maintaining a CI environment to enable continuous delivery.
