The company is seeking a Junior to Semi-Senior Perl Back-End Developer to contribute to the development of scalable and high-performing back-end systems.
Responsibilities include developing, testing, and maintaining back-end services and APIs using Perl, working with frameworks like mod_perl, Mojolicious, Catalyst, or Dancer, and optimizing existing Perl codebases.
The role involves collaborating with front-end developers, DevOps, and other teams for smooth system integration, troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing existing applications.
The position requires staying updated with modern Perl development techniques and proposing improvements and best practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in back-end development using Perl.
Experience with Perl frameworks such as Mojolicious, Catalyst, or Dancer is required.
A strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, is necessary.
Familiarity with RESTful API development and web services is essential.
Knowledge of Git and version control best practices is required.
