Mozilla Corporation is seeking a Senior Back-End Engineer with expertise in Ruby and Ruby on Rails to join the Fakespot team.
The role involves creating robust, scalable, and highly loaded applications, maintaining and troubleshooting existing applications, identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs, and maintaining and expanding APIs.
Fakespot's mission is to bring trust and transparency back to the eCommerce space by leveraging machine learning to filter out spurious reviews, enabling consumers to make informed purchasing decisions.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of professional work experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
Excellent learning ability and the capability to write efficient algorithms and clean code are essential.
Good knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL is required.
Experience with Sidekiq, RSpec, and other common RoR libraries is necessary.
Working knowledge of Git and Docker is expected.
A good understanding of full stack web development is important.
