Remote Senior Back End/Full Stack Engineer (Costa Rica)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Back-end and full stack development.
• Willingness to work within PST working hours (9am-6pm PST) for the full business day.
• Proficiency in Back End development and experience with Express.js, Next.js, or similar backend frameworks.
• Experience in building SPAs and consumer-facing content-heavy websites (e.g., e-commerce, marketing sites).
• Highly desirable to have experience with Prismic Headless CMS or other Headless CMS.
• Familiarity with Next.js API Routes, Configuration, and Middleware.
• Experience in Accessibility and building ADA compliant frontends using React.
• Knowledge of implementing SEO strategies like Structured Data/Schema, OG Tags, URL Redirects, Canonicalization, and Sitemap generation.
• Experience using Chakra UI for frontend components.
• Product and user experience-driven development approach with a focus on user needs and effective communication.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new information or challenges during projects.
• Experience collaborating closely with backend teams to define API specifications.
• Effective time management skills for balancing development and code reviews.
