TrustYou is on a mission to help make guests happy by offering three platforms powered by hospitality AI: Customer Experience Platform (CXP), Customer Data Platform (CDP), and Agent Platform.
The position is for a Senior Backend Developer - Connectivity Lead, located in Germany or Spain, and is remote.
The role involves supporting the CDP Engineering Team in building and expanding a system for integrating Property Management Systems (PMS) used by hotels and efficiently processing data streams.
Responsibilities include developing a robust platform for data integration, designing data workflows, analyzing and implementing interfaces, building reliable connectors, and collaborating with clients for customizations.
The candidate will use modern backend technologies, primarily Python and Node.js, and will employ containerization and orchestration for stable services.
The role also includes serving as a technical point of contact, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with various stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 5 years as a Senior Backend Engineer.
A proven track record in managing complex integration scenarios is required.
Strong proficiency in Python and/or Node.js (TypeScript) is essential.
Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP, and comfort with complex or proprietary APIs is necessary.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker), basic understanding of Kubernetes, and experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) is required.
A background in event-driven and batch-driven architectures, data processing, and observability is important.
Familiarity with Google ads/Meta ads and similar APIs is a plus.
The candidate should possess a high level of motivation, attention to quality, and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills in English are required, with German being a plus.
