As a Senior Backend Developer, you will work on the platform as a member of the agile product development team.
You will design, build, and maintain backend services using PHP.
Your role includes enhancing application performance and scalability in collaboration with the team.
You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to define new features and functionality.
You will optimize and maintain existing services to ensure high availability and performance.
You are expected to ensure that concept, design, and technology are perfectly aligned through your creativity and newly acquired skills.

Requirements:

A BSc degree and at least 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer with production-grade software development expertise on web services are required.
In-depth knowledge of PHP and Symfony is essential.
A solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud architecture, preferably with the AWS stack, is necessary.
You should have an in-depth understanding of the entire software development process, including design, development, deployment, and monitoring.
Knowledge and experience with relational databases, specifically MySQL, are required.
You must have the ability to learn complex technical systems quickly.
An agile mindset and a strong sense of quality and accountability are important.
You should be able to work independently and possess a team player mindset.
Proficiency in both German and English is required.
