Intetics is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience working with modern backend technologies, particularly in high-load and high-concurrency environments.
Experience with message queues/event-driven architecture and a strong understanding of databases, especially MySQL, is essential.
The successful candidate will also have experience in the gaming industry.
Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining backend systems using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
The candidate will implement event-driven architecture using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS.
They will work with TypeORM for efficient database connection management.
The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing APIs to handle high-concurrency applications.
The candidate will manage and scale MySQL databases (version 8+) in high-load scenarios.
Ensuring system reliability and scalability in high-traffic environments is crucial.
The candidate will write unit, load, and E2E tests to ensure code quality.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver complex technical solutions is expected.

Requirements:

The candidate must have 6+ years of professional experience in backend development.
Expert-level proficiency in NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript is required.
A strong knowledge of TypeORM and connection pools is necessary.
Experience with message queues/event-driven architecture (RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS) is essential.
The candidate must have a deep understanding of MySQL (version 8+), high-load scenarios, transactions, grants, and scalability.
Hands-on experience with high-concurrency applications is required.
Proficiency in unit testing, load testing, and E2E testing (Jest, k6, Cypress, Selenium) is necessary.
Strong communication skills and team collaboration are essential.
Experience in the gaming industry is preferred.

This is a remote position, allowing for flexibility in work location.
The role is long-term, with a commitment of 1+ year after a successful 1-month initial period.
The position offers 190-220 working hours per month, with full-time or part-time options available.
