Remote Senior Backend Engineer

• They are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Seller Experience team, which works on seller-related projects including new selling mechanics, shipping integrations, e-commerce integrations, and AI-driven tools.

Requirements:

• Experience in developing, running, and deploying highly scalable and available applications and APIs in production is required.
• Strong knowledge of the NodeJS ecosystem, including Typescript, Javascript, NPM, Express, and Webpack is necessary.
• Proficiency in relational databases like Postgres is essential.
• Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, specifically ECS, Lambda, SQS, and SNS is required.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation is needed.
• Candidates must have outstanding communication skills to articulate technical problems.
• The ability to work autonomously and deliver results at a rapid pace is crucial.
• Bonus skills include experience with Javascript-based front-end technologies like VueJS and React, the NestJS framework, creating APIs using GraphQL, AWS Typescript CDK, and document databases like MongoDB and DynamoDB, as well as AWS Data Pipelines such as AWS Glue and SageMaker.
