Array is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the digital finance team.
The digital finance team is responsible for developing innovative solutions for managing financial data and transactions securely.
The role involves enhancing digital finance offerings by writing code and developing back-end components for fintech products.
Collaboration with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical implementations is a key aspect of the position.
Designing and implementing robust APIs and microservices in technologies like Go, Node.js, and optimizing application infrastructure on cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS are essential responsibilities.
The Senior Backend Engineer will tackle complex technical challenges, continuously evaluate and implement improvements to development processes, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
The position requires participation in on-call rotations.
Requirements:
Experience in backend API development using Go or Node.js to ensure efficient server-side operations.
Strong architectural design skills to translate problem statements into well-designed applications.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS for scalable and reliable solutions.
Collaboration experience with product teams to align technical solutions with product goals.
Hands-on database skills with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and knowledge of document databases.
Ability to anticipate and build for scale, ensuring applications can handle increasing loads and user demands.
Track record of solving complex problems at scale, demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills.
Capability to convert APIs into reusable components, optimizing code efficiency and maintainability.
