Description:

Modash is seeking a full-time Senior Backend Engineer to join their Data team and help creators earn a living through sponsorships.
The role involves taking ownership of building a data platform for influencer marketing.
Responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues, participating in all areas of the data product, and providing input on technical direction.
The engineer will build systems to ensure high-quality data for customer decision-making and engage in code reviews and tech planning.

Candidates should be located in Europe, Africa, or the Middle East, preferably within a 2-3 hour time zone difference from GMT+3, and must be fluent in English.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience with Typescript, Node.js, and Python.
Experience working with APIs, including API gateways, services, security, throttling, and caching is required.
Hands-on experience with data scraping, collection, and processing is necessary.
Applicants should have worked with large amounts of data or systems that handle data at scale.
A strong knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, including API Gateway, ECS, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, and EMR is essential.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and storage services like S3 is required.
Candidates must be willing to work on product features end-to-end, including scoping, architecting, coding, testing, and rolling out features.
