Remote Senior Backend Engineer

Description:

• Modash is seeking a full-time Senior Backend Engineer to join their Data team and help creators earn a living through sponsorships.
• The role involves taking ownership of building a data platform for influencer marketing.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues, participating in all areas of the data product, and providing input on technical direction.
• The engineer will build systems to ensure high-quality data for customer decision-making and engage in code reviews and tech planning.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience with Typescript, Node.js, and Python.
• Experience working with APIs, including API gateways, services, security, throttling, and caching is required.
• Hands-on experience with data scraping, collection, and processing is necessary.
• Applicants should have worked with large amounts of data or systems that handle data at scale.
• A strong knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, including API Gateway, ECS, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, and EMR is essential.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and storage services like S3 is required.
• Candidates must be willing to work on product features end-to-end, including scoping, architecting, coding, testing, and rolling out features.
