The position involves building systems with high availability for the SaaS platform, collaborating closely with front-end engineers and the product team.
Responsibilities include owning configurable-driven SaaS billing and rating calculator solutions, supporting document generation and communication systems, collaborating on premium calculation features, exploring new technical capabilities, and contributing to the team's success.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of software engineering experience, focusing on billing and rating platforms and optimization.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, or Go; experience with Python and Django is a significant advantage.
Applicants should have great experience building applications in a secure and PCI-compliant environment.
A solid understanding of building streaming systems that produce large quantities of immutable, auditable data at scale with complex aggregation is required.
Candidates should have experience participating in the design and architecture of projects.
Self-directed and self-motivated individuals who are comfortable working with diverse teams are preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Experience with AWS or other cloud services is required.
