Description:

  • AudiencePlus is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to contribute to the development of their AI-powered Audience Marketing platform.
  • The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Python & FastAPI.
  • Responsibilities include managing relational databases (PostgreSQL) and graph databases (Neo4j), integrating third-party services, and ensuring high code quality through code reviews and automated testing.
  • The Senior Backend Engineer will optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability, implement security best practices, and collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers.
  • Mentorship of junior engineers and maintaining clear documentation for systems and processes are also key responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development with a focus on Python is required.
  • Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and Neo4j, including database design, optimization, and complex query writing, is essential.
  • Proficiency in RESTful API design, asynchronous programming, and microservices architecture is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required for delivering robust and scalable solutions.
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is a prerequisite.
