Lime is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their team and help revolutionize urban transportation.
The role involves designing and building core technology that powers Lime's fleet of connected vehicles.
The engineer will craft backend systems capable of processing large volumes of requests from IoT devices and consumer-facing applications.
The position also includes improving operational tools for Lime's distributed workforce to charge, deploy, and maintain electric vehicles.
The engineer will collaborate with a talented group of engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers to create innovative solutions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of industry professional software development experience with a proven track record of building and maintaining high-quality software that delivers business impact.
The ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions is essential.
Experience in conducting code reviews and implementing best practices for scalable and maintainable code is required.
Candidates should have experience in designing and implementing scalable and robust system architectures.
The ability to provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, and foster a culture of continuous learning and quality engineering is necessary.

The anticipated salary range for this position is CA$130,000 - 178,000, with annual performance bonuses, equity, and benefits potentially included in the compensation package.
