Remote Senior Backend Engineer

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of full-time development experience in PHP, with a focus on backend development.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Laravel, building and extending enterprise-level applications, is required.
• Proven expertise in building large-scale distributed systems and scalable backend services is essential.
• Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture is necessary.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Queue, Pub/Sub) is required.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and caching strategies is needed.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, SQS, Aurora, and DynamoDB is mandatory.
• Proficiency in OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns is expected.
• Candidates should have experience in unit testing, feature testing, and mocking to ensure code quality.
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization and deployment is required.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English are necessary.
