The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for crafting innovative features, optimizing large-scale distributed systems, and shaping the future of the core product.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining large-scale, high-performance systems, developing services for scalability and efficiency, creating RESTful APIs, collaborating on migration to a service-oriented architecture, writing clean and maintainable code, troubleshooting technical challenges, and contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of backend development experience in PHP.
A minimum of 2 years working with Laravel to build enterprise-level applications or equivalent experience with Symfony and a strong motivation to learn Laravel is required.
Expertise in distributed systems, scalable services, and RESTful APIs is essential.
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., queues, pub/sub) is necessary.
Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and caching strategies is required.
Proficiency in OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns is expected.
Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, SQS, Aurora, DynamoDB) is needed.
Hands-on containerization skills with Docker are required.
Fluent English communication skills are mandatory.
