Remote Senior Backend Engineer

Description:

• The company is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team in developing and maintaining scalable systems using Ruby on Rails, Postgres, and Elasticsearch.
• The role involves optimizing performance, troubleshooting complex issues, and designing GraphQL APIs to support a React frontend.

Requirements:

• Technical:
  • The candidate must have proficiency with Ruby on Rails, including performance tuning and debugging.
  • Proficiency with Postgres and Elasticsearch is required.
  • Strong experience with GraphQL API design and implementation is essential.
  • A solid understanding of background processing with Sidekiq or similar tools is necessary.
  • Familiarity with integrating and managing third-party APIs is a must.
