Remote Senior Backend Engineer

Description:

• Responsibilities include technical design of new features, server-side logic development, legacy code optimization, migration of legacy GCP deployments, database development, API development, performance optimization, and collaboration with team members.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and basic knowledge of Go is required.
• Broad experience with Google Cloud Platform is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and No-SQL databases is essential.
• Experience with caching systems and designing cloud-based software architecture is required.
• A good understanding of CI/CD and automation is necessary.
• Professional working proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Nice to have skills include experience with GCP services like AppEngine, GKS, BigQuery, Datastore, Memorystore, as well as Redis, Kubernetes, Python webapp2, flask, PHP, Marionette, HTML, and CSS.
