A recently funded US Based Financial Institution is seeking an experienced Senior Back-End Engineer/Developer to work 100% remotely.
The role involves working directly with the senior leadership team to develop and implement their platform.
The position requires extracting data from complex documents using advanced NLP techniques.
Key responsibilities include designing and enhancing proprietary NLP algorithms.
The engineer will develop supplementary tools and interfaces to improve efficiency and accuracy in the data extraction process.
The role also involves executing backend tasks such as REST API development and database querying.

Requirements:

Candidates must demonstrate expertise in Python programming.
Prior experience in a Financial Institution or Startup is necessary.
Applicants should be comfortable with regular expressions and natural language processing (NLP).
Skills in parsing PDF and DOCX documents are required.
A strong capability in developing and maintaining ETL pipelines is essential.
Understanding of data warehousing principles is necessary.
Experience with Postgres or other relational database systems is a must.
