The position is for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a team of approximately 25 engineers.
The role involves working independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality solutions in a professional and creative work environment.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
Deep involvement with several APIs is required.
Proficiency in Python is mandatory.
A good understanding of Databases, Caches, Queues, Events, Lambdas, and Workers is essential.
Candidates must understand cloud computing and how the code will run in that environment.
Skills in Unit testing and E2E testing are required.
Applicants must be located in the U.S.
A fast learner attitude is important; degrees and certificates are not the primary focus.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative team culture fit are essential.
Comfort working within visual design systems is necessary.
Extra credit will be given for strong SQL/DB knowledge, experience with feature flags, release experience, and networking knowledge.
Good personal traits include a willingness to accept failure and feedback, and a passion for learning new disciplines.
