The company is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to scale systems, build new features, and enhance user experience.
The role involves working on core services such as real-time contest logic, user personalization, payments, and data infrastructure.
Responsibilities include designing and building backend systems, developing APIs and services, improving system performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring other engineers, and owning features from design to deployment.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, preferably with high-scale, consumer-facing applications.
Proficiency in modern backend languages such as Python, Go, Node.js, or similar is required.
Applicants should be comfortable designing APIs, data models, and distributed systems.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, message queues, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) is necessary.
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying performance bottlenecks or system issues.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset are important.
