Description:

  • Responsibilities include leading key components of Core Services, applying knowledge of databases like Postgres SQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch, collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying updated with technology, prioritizing user experiences, and ensuring operational excellence throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Requirements:

  • A BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is required, although professional experience can substitute for non-engineering educational backgrounds.
  • Candidates must have 6+ years of hands-on experience in modern software development environments, with a history of delivering scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in system design and architecture is essential, along with mastery in at least one programming language such as Node.js, Javascript, Golang, or Typescript.
  • Strong collaborative instincts are necessary, emphasizing open communication, transparency, and cross-team interaction.
  • Production experience with search applications like OpenSearch, Vector database, or Elasticsearch is required.
