Description:

We are hiring for a Senior Backend Engineer (TypeScript/Node.js) to join an innovative Series B AI start-up.
The company is working on an Intelligence Support platform for products and devices.
The role involves setting the foundation for product applications that will help people around the world get better support for their hardware devices.
The primary focus will be on the TypeScript backend, handling the technical implementation of functionalities.
Responsibilities include crafting the system structure, ensuring the security and dependability of the application, and aiding in team expansion.
Initially, the engineer will be actively involved in constructing backend services within the TypeScript codebase, laying the groundwork for new product features.
Over time, the engineer will be expected to provide input regarding the evolution and enhancement of the product.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience as a backend engineer.
Experience in building web applications using TypeScript on NodeJS or Deno is required.
Candidates should have experience designing APIs via REST, GraphQL, and WebSocket.
Experience in building and maintaining the infrastructure for deploying and running backend services is necessary.
The ability to take complete ownership of a feature or a project is essential.
Candidates must be able to traverse the technical stack upwards and downwards from the backend as needed, solving problems with deployments and making tweaks to the frontend.
Familiarity with common data structures and fundamental algorithms is required.
Good communication and collaboration skills are necessary for this role.
