Remote Senior Backend Engineer

Description:

• Bigeye is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help enterprises trust their data by designing and developing product solutions for enterprise customers.
• The role involves keeping Bigeye reliable and performant as customers deploy it on hundreds of tables, thousands of columns, and billions of rows.
• The engineer will contribute to an engineering platform for rapid and efficient iteration, collaborate with product managers and designers, and work on observability and lineage aspects of DataOps.
• Technologies used include Java, MySQL, Python, REST APIs, RabbitMQ, Protobuf, Datadog, Docker, and AWS.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Java.
• Experience within a Service Oriented Architecture.
• Experience with databases, ETL tools, BI tools, etc.
• Experience in designing, building, and supporting user-facing products.
• Proven track record of solving customer problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
