The products include a Customer Experience Platform (CXP) for AI-powered insights, a Customer Data Platform (CDP) for customer data management, and AI Agents that provide personalized recommendations and optimize booking conversions.
The position is for a Senior Backend Engineer in the AI Agents team, aimed at driving the technical evolution of the platform.
The role involves designing, developing, and operating scalable backend services using Python 3 and FastAPI, contributing to architecture decisions, collaborating with Product Management and Frontend engineers, mentoring other engineers, ensuring code quality, and deploying services using Kubernetes and Docker.

Requirements:

A minimum of 10 years of overall software development experience, with at least 7 years focused on backend development in Python.
A strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture.
Experience integrating AI/LLM technologies into production systems.
Solid DevOps experience, particularly with Kubernetes and Docker.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
General experience with generative AI and large language models (LLMs).
Proficiency in or openness to working with other programming languages, such as Go, for maintaining existing services or optimizing performance-critical components.
An agile mindset to deliver great products with an iterative approach.
Fluency in both German and English.
