Join Contentful as a Senior AI Software Engineer (f/m/d) and innovate with AI Integrations.
Contribute to building and maintaining an internal AI platform that accelerates innovation across the organization.
Develop scalable, high-performance AI integrations, APIs, tools, and documentation to empower feature teams.
Collaborate closely with feature teams to enhance their development capabilities and bring AI-powered solutions to life.
Build intuitive internal tooling and foster seamless integration of AI technologies to drive efficiency and innovation.
Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build best-in-class AI-enabled features for customers.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI platform features using TypeScript and Node.js.
Implement and integrate AI technologies, such as generative AI, machine learning models, or NLP.
Think critically about the interactions between AI models and product components for a cohesive user experience.
Quickly fix bugs and solve problems related to AI performance, model integration, or data pipeline issues.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving AI development processes.
Stay current with the latest industry trends in AI and machine learning.

Requirements:

Proven experience in building APIs and services that handle large volumes of traffic.
Deep interest in clean code practices and familiarity with enterprise architectural design patterns.
Experience with serverless architectures, ideally in edge compute environments like Cloudflare Workers.
Experience with building and maintaining asynchronous systems for automation and bulk use cases.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, especially in deploying AI models or microservices.
Knowledge of implementing enterprise-ready governance features such as RBAC, audit logging, and compliance frameworks.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, with experience in services like AWS SageMaker, Google AI, or Azure Machine Learning being a plus.
A natural problem-solver with innovative ideas for integrating features within product workflows.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Ability to organize and prioritize competing workloads in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment.

Preferred:

Skills in integrating and implementing AI/ML solutions within a product development environment.
Experience in developing platform features to enable internal teams.
Strong skills in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
