Description:

Pindrop is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in Authentication to innovate at the intersection of technology and personal security.
The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring high-performance services and APIs.
Candidates will develop applications in Golang and Python on a modern cloud-focused platform.
Responsibilities include maintaining services using AWS native products such as Kinesis, DynamoDB, and S3, as well as GCP native products.
The engineer will deliver production-ready code from start to finish and review code to ensure quality, performance, scale, and security.
The position requires collaboration in a cross-functional environment with software engineers, test engineers, research scientists, and product managers.
The engineer will identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation and contribute to improving software engineering best practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5-7 years of software development experience.
Experience in designing and implementing highly scalable cloud-based APIs is required.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages, particularly Python and Go, is necessary.
Expertise in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Concurrency is essential.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in DevOps practices for deploying SaaS services, including hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines, is required.
Knowledge of various Data Storage technologies such as Redis and MySQL is necessary.
Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes is required.
Experience developing and maintaining services using AWS native products is essential.
Proficiency in Linux is required.
