Description:
PatientIQ is seeking a Senior Back-End Engineer to positively impact patient lives by building the future of healthcare.
The role involves revamping existing software and developing new software using modern technologies.
The engineer will work on the PatientIQ Network, which aims to create a peer network for healthcare providers to collaborate and share data.
Responsibilities include advancing the analytics engine for better predictions and insights, automating patient workflows, and expanding third-party integrations.
The engineer will also focus on refactoring existing systems to optimize for scaling and increased data flow.
Technologies used include Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS Lambda.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience building web applications.
The ability to write clean, well-designed, and scalable code is essential.
First-hand professional experience with Ruby on Rails is required.
A collaborative mindset is necessary, with interactions expected with leadership, product managers, and customer success teams.
Knowledge of databases and backend experience is also required.
Responsibilities include working with product managers and designers, active development with test coverage, performing peer code reviews, and supporting a critical production environment.
